Teeeeeeeeeny tiny sample size for 2008.

Recently, they've become the same kind of closer: get hits a lot, but generally have low walks and some strikeouts. It's a wash to me.
46 wins to match last year's total

I would take Jones over Borowski any day, and I'm not saying that because I am a Tigers' fan.

Todd Jones. Mainly because when he was with the Reds, he'd always have a pie for the player of the game.
Unlike most other team sports, in which teams usually have an equivalent number of players on the field at any given time, in baseball the hitting team is at a numerical disadvantage, with a maximum of 5 players and 2 base coaches on the field at any time, compared to the fielding team's 9 players. For this reason, leaving the dugout to join a fight is generally considered acceptable in that it results in numerical equivalence on the field, and a fairer fight.

Jones was better in everything except Save situations and he's only half of a run worse than Borowski in that.

i am a Tiger fan and I would rather have neither...but Jones is one of the few bright spots so far this year!

Jones has had the better career, but neither is a top-flight closer

I chose Jones just to have a different guy sucking it up on the mound.

Given the choice I'd prefer to go find a closer.

Borowski should be in the minor leagues by now, maybe even in AA.

Todd Jones, as shaky as he can be, is way better than Joe any day of the week.

I'd prefer to bring back Hoyt Wilhelm. Borowski couldn't even put the CAT out, let alone a batter :grouchy
