  • Sophomore Slump?

    Code:
    Ryan Braun/.250/.258/.422/3 HR/10 RBI/9 runs
    Tulowitzki/.185/.264/.277/0 HR/6 RBI/5 runs
    Pence...../.200/.222/.300/0 HR/3 RBI/4 runs
Way to early to be concerned but all 3 are starting slow. Tulo started slow last year but Pence(until injury) and Braun were on fire all season.

Now that they've been in the majors for a little while, pitchers are probably starting to adjust to them. Give them some time and they'll figure it out

Didn't think so. I'll see you again tomorrow night around the top of the ninth."

Not to worried about Tulo. He has stroked 3 doubles in the last 2 games.

He is doing great in the field again.

Tulo has a couple of errors but leads in zone and range again. Hope Rollins is dusting his GG Award everyday. I know the managers and coaches had never awarded a GG to a rookie but they should have made a exception for a top 10 season like Tulowitzki had.

Today in his 15th game of the season, Braun got his first base on balls thus far this season. Whilst he didn't walk much last year, he certainly doesn't look like he'll be increasing his numbers much.

I'm not really worried about his start just yet. Though it's interesting that all three guys are off to a slow pace.

how about a juinor slump for Verlander?
