I suppose we have to consider that Mindy McReady is about as unstable as they come, but perhaps this helped start her down the path she has followed since? How a married 28 year old millionaire could be interested in a 15 year old, I cannot understand.

I felt that I couldn't really get the gist of this story from the web yesterday.
Is it possible that Clemens just liked her music?
Did Debbie Clemens also know and befriend the young lady?
Did they meet because they're both from the Houston area? Were they neighbors?
I don't understand the uproar at this point...I haven't heard anything solid to suggest that sex was involved.
Is it just possible that Clemens is still a human being despite his flaws and was only a friend and occasional benefactor to a talented but troubled young artist? It is well known that wealthy and influential people sometimes like to throw their money around just because they can, not always because they're getting something out of it other than gratitude and the feeling of being a big shot.
I guess McNamee's lawyer is just doing his job by piling on here, but where's the beef?

This morning's NY Daily News said that she admitted to having an intimate relationship with Clemens, although said it didn't start when she was 15. She wouldn't elaborate past that.

I think we need to let this play out some more. McCready is not the most stable of people and she is trying to make a "comeback". There is some possibility she might be behind this for PR reasons.

No, I don't believe that, but there is no need to rush to judgment either. Also it has ZERO to do with Clemens, PED's, and his lawsuit against McNamee. This is Enquirer level fodder.

I don't see how an exhibition game stunt and statutory rape allegations can be equated or even put in the same sentence but that's just me.
