Didn't think so. I'll see you again tomorrow night around the top of the ninth."

What better way to get you shopping for all-star gear early, eh?

Here we go again. Putting the ballots out way before than they should be out. What will they think of next to help out the All-Star Game?
My Top 4 funniest BBF posts ever:

      2) "The teams play 1962 games in 180 days."

      3) "Stadiums don't move silly, people do."

      4) "Once again you quibble, because it is I who speaks."

      5) Almost anything RuthMayBond says...

Oh geez..Now I got plenty of time to vote 1000 times for a player who doesn't deserve to be in there.

Let the poll stuffing begin. Makes the BBWAA voters for the awards look good by comparison.

          Let me figure this out.

          NL
          Pitcher/Cook
          catcher/Torrealba
          1st base/Helton
2nd base/Nix or Baker or Barmes
          3rd base/Atkins
          SS/Tulo
          LF/Holliday
          CF/Taveras or Podsednik or Spilborghs
          RF/Hawpe

          AL
pitcher/Wang or Wright if they bring him up
          Catcher/Posada
          1st base/Giambi
          2nd base/Cano
          3rd base/A Rod
          SS/Jeter
          LF/Matsui or Damon
          CF/Melky
          RF/Abreu
          DH/Matsui or Damon

Hey, I'm voting for Fred Lewis at least 52,318 times!

This is ridiculous. There is NO good reason for voting to take place this early in the season. We're less than one month into the season, this is way to early to tell who is better than who. Voting has become a popularity contest, much to my disgust. Too often the beter players get passed over for a worse player who happened to get more votes.

I remember a year ago we were complaning cause they were out mid to end May, and now end of april? Next year they can put them out on April 2nd and we'll vote based on ST stats!

"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."

Just a note to all the active members of BBF, I consider all of you the smartest baseball people I have ever communicated with and love everyday I am on here. Thank you all!

And once again I have to put a write-in vote for a Red (last year Josh Hamilton, this year Paul Bako).
Unlike most other team sports, in which teams usually have an equivalent number of players on the field at any given time, in baseball the hitting team is at a numerical disadvantage, with a maximum of 5 players and 2 base coaches on the field at any time, compared to the fielding team's 9 players. For this reason, leaving the dugout to join a fight is generally considered acceptable in that it results in numerical equivalence on the field, and a fairer fight.

It's all about the fans, not the players.
