My top 3 and bottom 3

    My Top 3

    Jon Miller (FAVORITE)
    10 out of 10
    Lead Play-by-play MLB
    ESPN Sunday Night Baseball

Miller is my favorite broadcaster of baseball anywhere. He's got that professional crisp voice and humble, knowledgable play-by-play calls of the game. I wish he could call all the national games instead of those bumblef**ks at Fox Sports

    Ken Singleton
    9 out of 10
    Color Comentator New York Yankees
    YES Network TV

Kenny what a class act, great guy all the way, great commentator, should be the lead play-by-play but YES is probably racist

    John Sterling
    8 out of 10
    Lead Play-by-play New York Yankees
    WCBS 880 Local Radio

John's got that soothing voice on the radio, calls a great game, definitely the voice of the Yankees

    My Bottom 3

    Michael Kay (LEAST FAVORITE)
    -5000 out of 10
    Lead Play-by-play New York Yankees
    YES Network TV

HATE HATE HATE this guy, did I mention I HATE this guy? No one is more annoying and an an absolute IRRITATION to watching the Yankee game.

    Kenny Albert
    0 out of 10
    Field level reporter MLB
    Fox Sports TV

This guy is a total shmuck, I can't get over how dopey he looks and acts

    Joe Buck & Tim McCarver
    1 out of 10
    MLB National Play by Play
    Fox Sports TV

Fox has absoultely the worst crew on the face of the Earth. They're so f'n annoying and call a terrible game. That's the worst part of October when you know these clowns are going to ruin the playoffs

Notable mentions: Ron darling, Keith Hernandez, and Kevin Burkhardt call a great game for the Mets. 8 out of 10 for that crew

Favorite: John Gordon - Twins radio

Don't Like: White Sox frat guys. "You can put it on the board! Yes!" I hate that. Go do play-by-play for soccer.

I remember when Pat O'Brien used to do baseball. I thought he was pretty good. Not as good as Jack Buck, but good.

What about Chris Bergman's "Back back back back back back" during the home run derby? Very annoying.

Russ Hodges, Lon Simmons my all time greats. You always go back to who called the games in your youth.

Sterling is laughablely bad!!!! Every fly ball is a homerun, always make mistakes he is so bad it's almost funny to listen to him. I agree with Singleton he is great, nice voice and calls a great game. I have ranted about Key so many times I don't think I have the energy to anymore, I think every Yankee fan hates him (well there is one who dosen't who is on here but it's better that he is not talked about) And the two morons on Fox, Where do you start!!!!

Yes. "It is far . . it is high . . . it is caught . . 20 feet in front of the track."

Best: Vin Scully. The only 1-man announcer left and deservedly so.
Worst: Fran Healy, McCarver/Buck, Joe "Just STFU Already" Morgan

Thanks. It's no fun putting together a list when you're not sure of the guy's name that's going to top the 'worst' list !

Nope I was talking about Key, and Gecko hates him too. Who I was talking about his name won't be named, I think he likes Key because the Yanks win when Key works and winning is the most important thing!

Yep.Gotta agree with you 100% on Scully. When he's gone we will have lost one of the last truly great Baseball announcers.

I know someone who says that all the time. Annoys the crap out of everyone but he thinks we're joking.
I feel like sharing these imitations of Sterling with that guy:

It is high, it is far, it is....making me want to hurt myself.
It is high, it is far, it is....the reason why you have 3 friends
It is high, it is far, it is....why you're with a guidence counciler all day.
