  • Mexico tearing Canada apart

It's 9-0 in the 6th inning. How will the tie breaker be?

  • #2
If Mexico wins 2-1, 2-0, 3-1, then Mex. and Canada go in. If Mexico wins by 4,5,6,7,or 8, then it's US and Mex. If Mex. wins by 9 or more, then it's South Africa and Canada, since their self esteem would be lowered by getting hammered that bad by Mexico. Now, if the US beats South Africa by more than 450 runs, then Canada and Newfoundland merge to create a super white north team, and they would advance with Greenland.

Seriously, I think it's the 2 run difference for Mex, then US and Mex. go.
    George Brett said it:

“If a tie is like kissing your sister, losing is like kissing you grandmother with her teeth out.”

“Even today, if the Royals win six games all year, if they're going to go 6-156, I hope they beat the Yankees six times.”

“A woman will be elected President before Wade Boggs is called out on strikes. I guarantee that.”

“If I stay healthy, I have a chance to collect 3,000 hits and 1,000 errors.”

The simplest answer is, that as long as the US beats South Africa and does not allow more than 12 runs the US and Mexico hold the tiebreakers and would advance.
I signed with the Milwaukee Braves for three-thousand dollars. That bothered my dad at the time because he didn't have that kind of dough. But he eventually scraped it up.~Bob Uecker

Yep. Even more simply, since no one has allowed 12 runs yet, and I doubt it'll happen again ():

        US wins - they advance
        US loses - Canada advances
46 wins to match last year's total

I added the bold words in. Don't forget the thing about the game being a tie after 14 innings...
