We may as well have a thread about guys on the DL. I actually am starting this because today, Nick Blackburn, a RHP who starts for the Minnesota Twins got hit in the nose on a comebacker hit by the Yanks' Bobby Abreu, who was definitely distraught. The ball was slightly deflected by the pitcher's glove, hopefully saving further damage.

If there are any other injuries, please post here and we can make this into a sticky.

    Thanks, folks.

Hudson had a "leg cramp". I don't know what happened to Boyer, but I do know a few Braves fans who wouldn't shed a tear to see him gone for a while.

Four players on one of my fantasy teams are on the DL:

Frank Thomas - quad inflamation - 15 day DL
Gary Sheffield - oblique strain - 15 day DL
Andruw Jones - successul knee surgery - 15 day DL - probably out 4-6 weeks
Moises Alou - strained calf - 15 day DL

David Ortiz, not yet on the DL but might be headed that way with a wrist issue.
