The WBC potentially picked only certain steroids, PEDs, etc. to test which is a problem with the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) who is sanctioning the WBC. The tournament is required to adhere to world anti-doping standards and it looks as if they've violated that...(see link)

...if the WBC did this on purpose, it's really upsetting. I'm really starting to lose faith in MLB, the commissioner, & the players union. Somebody has to step in and put a stop to this.

According to WADA chairman Dick Pound, his organization is now looking into the IBAF's management of the drug-testing program.

Gee, that guys parents sure had a sense of humor, eh.

This really isn't surprising; afterall, they had to make sure there would be enough to play with.
