1) The Blue Jays signed P Roy Halladay to a 3 year, $40 million contract extension, covering 2008-10.
Halladay ranks 14th in RSAA through the age of 28 for AL pitchers in the past half century--
2) Cubs P Mark Prior was diagnosed with a strained right shoulder and could miss the start of the season. But, the news is still much better than the Cubs feared.
3) Nationals SS Cristian Guzman was diagnosed with a tear in his shoulder and could keep him out for the whole season.
Guzman ranks 7th on the all time list for worst RCAA through the age of 27--
4) The Indians sent INF Jake Gautreau, INF-OF Joe Inglett, OFs Brad Snyder and Todd Donovan, C Armando Camacaro and Ps Kazuhito Tadano to the minors.
5) The Dodgers sent 3B Andy LaRoche and P Greg Miller to the minors.
