Look the part
Rookie manager Joe Girardi will be lucky to see the All-Star break as the Marlins manager. The team has been dismembered and the few remaining stars haven't looked very sharp in ST or the WBC. I really like the guy, and remember him in his college days as the scrappy kid from Peoria, but his job is going to be an extra tough one considering the owner and GM of the organization are banking on dismal failure and want to blame him for it even before the season begins.Baseball is a ballet without music. Dusty will get a break because of the injuries. Hurdle is a terrible manager, but the team's lack of talent saves him. So I vote for the overrated Hargrove.

Baker can only use the injury excuse for so long...If he doesn't win the Wild Card this year or at least get the team to .500 then he is gone.
Hurdle will be lucky to make it to the All Star break. He has had four years to turn the team around, if he can't get them to at least .500 then he should be let go.
Narron is in his first full year, I think he is off the hot seat until next year.
Hargrove is likely to finish out his contract with Seattle and then move on, I doubt the team will pay him to leave before then. Besides, he could turn things around. It took him a few years before he had a winner in Cleveland, it's possible that he could have a winner in Seattle with time.Best posts ever:

I don't see Bell or Narron getting fired. Bell is getting his first full season under way and so is Narron. Also Narrons winning percentage with the Reds is .500.Unlike most other team sports, in which teams usually have an equivalent number of players on the field at any given time, in baseball the hitting team is at a numerical disadvantage, with a maximum of 5 players and 2 base coaches on the field at any time, compared to the fielding team's 9 players. For this reason, leaving the dugout to join a fight is generally considered acceptable in that it results in numerical equivalence on the field, and a fairer fight.
