For the first and only time in MLB history, there would be a ladies-only audience in the stands. No gents allowed, not even those who think they look cool pretending to be Paula Abdul. Hey, Barry, that's you behind that blond wig.
Perhaps Barry Bonds and the Love Unlimited Orchestra could do him some good. Please read Baseball Fever Policy and Forum FAQ before posting. 2007-11 CBA

Barry White: Oh baby, baby I took some 'roids today. Baby, baby, I just hit a homerun! I cheated but so what?, I get closer to Ruth's record each day!
Well, maybe he would, too!My Top 4 funniest BBF posts ever:
1) "plZ dOn;t' pOsT LikE tHIs n e mOr!"
2) "The teams play 1962 games in 180 days."
3) "Stadiums don't move silly, people do."
4) "Once again you quibble, because it is I who speaks."
5) Almost anything RuthMayBond says...

Are there any "Weird Al Yankovics" amongst us? Here's the lyrics to "Ecstasy", his big '70s/'80s hit:
When we met, it wasn’t quite clear to me
What you had in store was there for only me
Silly, you know you took me by surprise
Then I turned and looked, I saw that message in your eye
There you were, I fell on the floor
The way you move, girl, only made me want you more
I did not know you had me hypnotized
There’s a movement of your body dancin’ in my eyes
I know I had to hold you and make you mine
Don’t want to control you just to have a good time
In ecstasy when you’re layin’ down next to me
Oh, no, no, ecstasy, yeah, when you’re layin’ down next to me
I find it hard for me to concentrate
If I don’t make my move, girl, it might be too late
I’ve got to make sure you don’t get away
After all you done, girl, to make me wanna stay
All my life I’ve been searchin’ for a star
Now my search is over and here we are
Livin’ in ecstasy, yeah, when you lay down next to me, yeah
Here in ecstasy, when you’re layin’ down next to me
I wanna hold you and make you mine
Don’t want to control you just to have a good time
Livin’ in ecstasy, well, when you’re layin’ down next to me
Ooh...ooh...wee, ecstasy, when you’re layin’ here with me, uh-huh
In this ecstasy when you are here with me, yeah
Oh, it’s ecstasy, Lord knows when you’re next to me, yeahPlease read Baseball Fever Policy and Forum FAQ before posting. 2007-11 CBA

Softening up in your old age, are ya?"I think about baseball when I wake up in the morning. I think about it all day and I dream about it at night. The only time I don't think about it is when I'm playing it."

Sometimes I let a few things go through, so long as it's being civil. I just like using my better judgment more than anything else. Kind of like "having a good ear" when listening to music.
It's not like we're all going to discuss all of the finer points of the better players out today, including long, drawn-out analysis from their past 5-10 seasons.
At times, a little fun never hurt anybody. Please read Baseball Fever Policy and Forum FAQ before posting. 2007-11 CBA
