Frank Thomas vs. Jim Thome: Who will hit more taters in 2006?

I have a feeling the Big Hurt will break down again and miss a lot of games. If they are both healthy it would be a good race.

I voted thome ahead by 1-9 homers, because Thome has been red-hot. While the Big hurt is only going to play 110-130 games, and Thome will be going for 145.

Speaking of red-hot guess who just hit one. He is so amazing!! In his last 7 games ( including st ) he had atleast one homer!!! In all of my fantasy leagues I've been trying to get him but he's just too valuable.

Frank is my favorite player so I hope he does well this year. Since I am a Sox fan I also wish Thome to come back strong. I predict:

          Thomas - 29
          Thome - 44

I think they will both join the 500 homer club next year.

Thome was on pace to crush the Big Hurt earlier in the year. Now the Big Hurt has been on a tear. Currently it's at 20 for Thome and 13 for Thomas. I still predict Thome to hit more taters but this might be closer than expected. If they both stay healthy they could each hit 40+.
