  • Clemens = steroids/hgh ?

    Is it possible ?

According to the writer of this article, an expert said so.

"I believe your observations were beyond reproach from a training perspective. Roger has been far and away my favorite baseball player for years, but I also live in the world of knowing training reality. I would speculate that Roger is probably using a cocktail of HGH [human growth hormone] and low doses of testosterone for primarily recuperation. This combination is commonly used in anti-aging therapy across the country and would be totally undetectable in modern drug testing. In a genetically gifted athlete who did adequate resistance training it would produce profound results."

If he'd used HGH, wouldn't his head become physically larger?

I'd have to see something more. Like his trainer being mixed up with all this, like Anderson was.

Don't forget during games he puts a HOT/COLD patch in his private area to "keep cool".

after mitchell files his "reduced" report to Selig and we're fine:

              1 name on list:

              Barry Bonds
              Cristobal

What's your definition of "chemically enhanced"?

I'm sure there will be other names. If his name does in fact appear, it will just be the most prominent name.

Still, unless Bonds takes and fails a drug test, I can't see his name appearing anywheer.

Wouldn't suprise me at all if Clemens juiced up. But then again, I don't think hearing about any player would surprise me at this point (well maybe not Willie McGee or Otis Nixon, those guys were skin and bones).

Nobody would shock me, but there are some that would surprise me more than others. If I got to take 15 guesses of guys currently in the game who used, Clemens would probably be in that top 15 or so. Without any real evidence though, I hold nothing against him.

And which chemicals would be on that list? Please name them all, omitting none.

No, I just like all the facts. People keep making generalizations. Me, I like hearing everything.

It's two men standing up. One is 6'10" Randy Johnson. The other is Ned Flanders. There's a thread about that in the Yankee forum. Yes, it's from the Simpsons.
