Our grasp of reality here, has always been tenuous at best.

...and my Cubs are within a game of being mathematically eliminated, already.

Bob, don't be silly. Everybody and their Mother knows that Pedro never hits batters.

Perhaps it's already been said, but Podsednick is on pace to get two hits this season.

I'm on similar pace - I have had to either go to work or do other domestic stuff, like shopping, while the games have been on!!

Just grab a fold-up lawn chair and enjoy the view. These imaginative Beantown fantasizers will eventually do themselves in.

Don't worry, Bostonians (and other New Englanders) don't travel with calendars. They love winning the April World Series. Now if only 2090 could hurry up some, they'd be eternally happy again!

Must've learned that trick from his fellow GREEN MONSTAH denizen, Manny, who around 2003, missed a few games because of some headfirst slide.

                              Gotta love them Baked Beantowners!

While we're at it, Derek Jeter is on pace to tie Ortiz with longballs. Oh, today's was a game-winning hit. Let's see how many Ortiz is "on pace for" this season.
