    1) Dodgers P Eric Gagne dropped his appeal of a 2 game suspension and started serving it yesterday. Gagne had been suspended last April for the goofyness of sitting on the bench while he was on the DL.

    Of course, this is another one of MLB's pretend suspensions, since Gagne has an ear infection and isn't available.
