What do you think? last year I thought the NL central was improved a lot with the brewers getting some good pitchers. this year of course that divison got a huge hit by losing pujols and fielder.
I think this years most improved division is the NL east. It used to be pretty weak in the last years (although the braves won the WC in 2010 and nearly won it again in 2011) but I think that division really improved a lot mostly due to the marlins shopping tour.
they now have 3 real playoff candidates (phillies, marlins, braves) and the nationals are a young talented team on the rise. the only real bad team are the mets (who thought that in 2006?) so the NL central should be clearly the strongest division in the NL. I would not be surprised if both wildcards (is the change this season already?) came from there.
In the AL the most improved divion must be the NL west. the AL east is still the strongest division of course (and might have even gotten stronger with the rays improving their roster) but the AL west also improved a lot. the angels got pujols and wilson and texas is still a very good team. and seattle also might have their low point behind them although they still have a lot to do before they are contenders again.
The AL central is still pathetic. the tigers are very good but the twins and white sox suck. KC is on a good way but they still have a way to go before they are contenders especially in their pitching. I would not be surprised if the tigers win 100, that might be the worst division in baseball.
