yes. he needs a very strong back end like edgar to make the hall. If he goes really strong till he is 38 I think he has a chance but if he declines in his mid 30s like most he has no chance.

And 2 months in he's batting .275/.330/.425 with all of four home runs. Shocking if you ask me.

I'm not too surprised, honestly. I always thought he was solid, but not on the level of greatness that is required of a Hall of Fame player.

For what it's worth, Gonzalez is hitting .396/.423./.577 over his last 38 games. He's turned his season around in a big way. The power numbers are still disappointing, tough.

Adrian Gonzalez went from being a guy I feared to a guy I want my team to play against really quickly over the span of one year

                      reminds me of Pau Gasol

He's been the hottest hitter in the American League by far. I'm glad to see him finally pick it up as he's been killing my fantasy team all season.

Adrian is hitting .422/.490.800 in 12 August games, and .344/.379/.529 in 63 games since June 1st. The only disturbing thing is his lack of walks.

I have no clue who Paul Gasol is but yeah, he's putting up Mark Grace numbers instead of Mark McGwire, LOL.

I wonder if much of that hot streak is due to playing a majority of home games during that stretch. 8 of his last 12 were at home and 36 of 63 were at home since June 1st. His home/road splits are really off this year.

We'll know better after this next stretch. He plays 15 of his next 22 on the road.

Gasol is the most over-rated European basketballer in the league
