    Ivan Rodriguez will announce his retirement on Monday according to Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald. He will finish at 2844 hits, 311 HRs, 13 GGs, 7 silver sluggers and an MVP award among his achevements.

      I was surprised to see I-Rod didn't have a job this year. I know he's older than dust (no disrespect) but I assumed some team would give him a spot on the roster, even if just for a backup and to mentor some young catcher.
