Yesterday the Red Sox had a 9-0 lead after 5 innings vs The Yankees
They lost 15-9
I was doing some research on something else and of course The Yankees had nipped the Red Sox at the end of the 1949 season to win the pennant, taking two straight from Boston at Fenway
Well the next season, 1950 had the Yankees open the season at Fenway
The Red Sox led 9-0 after 4 innings
....... they lost 15-10
a 4 run 6th and a 9 run 8th will do that to you
