That most of my fantasy team has hit the dl already? Can anyone else go down at this point?

Well, Hobbs named them all, but, I'll humor everybody.

I'm really surprised the Cardinals are doing as well as they are without Pujols, La Russa and Dave Duncan. And, their good pitching isn't coming from Wainwright or Carpenter (the later on the DL). It's coming from guys like Lance Lynn.

I knew the Nats would contend, my Phillies would struggle and that the Marlins would not be as good as advertised with the personalities

            But the Red Sox? Wow...

Really? With a lineup with Furcal, Jay, Holliday, Berkman, Freese, Beltran, and Molina? Good pen...deep staff...more speed now...better defense than in 2011. I am more surprised at how many people thought the Cards would fall apart without Pujols.

Remember, the Cards won 90 games last year with Pujols...but without Beltran, without Furcal for 4 months, without Freese for 3 months, without Wainwright, no Craig for 4 months, and with the game's worst pen for 3 months.

I did not see Texas playing close to .750 ball no
I am surprised the Cardinals are doung as well as they are, they are playing really well despite major changes and really getting results from pitchers that were hardly expected
The Rays continuously surprise me with their payroll and tough division

Just speculation on my part, but I really think the Cards are the favorite to win the World Series this year. That lineup is stacked.

I wouldn't go that far, but the lineup is stacked.

Well, of course they aren't going to play .750 ball, but I expected them to be leading the division and playing very well.

                          Yes, I am surprised.

Before the season, I could of said the Angels were going to be a good team this year. On paper, their lineup and pitching are stacked.

Between the loss of La Russa and Duncan plus Pujols, I thought the Cardinals were going to flounder. Or at least need a year to get their ducks in a row. The loss of Carpenter didn't help.

Matt Kemp is a surprise? Did you miss all of last season?

I'd say Adam Dunn is somewhat of a surprise.he really looked done last season. Derek Jeter and maybe Ichiro also.

Bautista's struggles are even more surprising than Pujols', I'd say.

yeah the phillies are really no surprise. No team is doing well when their two best hitters are on the DL.
