I cant imagine what their new stadium would look like to try and top the Marlins. Maybe they can put a zoo in the stadium.

All Tampa Bay area teams are named "Tampa Bay." But the Rays are the only ones that are based in St. Petersburg instead of Tampa.
Using a stolen chant from Boston Celtics fans whenever an L.A. team is playing up there just reeks of inferiority complex.

If hitting a baseball is the toughest thing to do in sports, then pitching must be the easiest thing to do in sports.

That doesn't make any sence right there.

Yes it does. The team's name is the "Tampa Bay" Rays, but they're based in St. Petersburg.

Heck, the "New York" Giants have been playing in East Rutherford, New Jersey since 1976.

It wasn't meant as an insult to the fans or anything. While I do find their use to be annoying, I was furthering chicago's remark about putting in a zoo saying a cow farm would be more appropriate due to the use of the cow bells.....

It's ironic that the only MLB team to play in an enclosed dome has a logo representing sun rays.

Yes, well... while it is a metropolitan area, I'm a bit of a literal person.

After spending four years in the Tampa Bay Area and going to a few games at the Trop all I can say is about time.

As much as "the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim".
