Kids a wuss.
I gotta give the kid a break on something involuntary like that. It's not like he burst into tears or ran away from a fight, he just lost consciousness against his will. Reminds me a bit of a kid I grew up with who fell on ice during recess in grade school, hit his head hard enough to knock himself out, and then wet himself. The poor guy heard about it all the way through junior high and HS, but I always figured he had nothing to do with it...he was out cold when it happened.
I can see this looking pretty trivial compared to soldiers getting torn up in combat, though.Last edited by Dude Paskert; 05-17-2012, 03:29 PM.

I dont blame him and I know just about every other player would have reacted the same way, but I still found it funny how Adrian Gonzalez just stood there watching the first base coach struggle to keep Rhymes up.

Even if there was retaliation, it should be a lobber across the numbers on the back. You don't need to be hurling 90+ fast balls at people.

Williams didn't look that intimidating on his own, but he looked pretty big when he was chasing Pedro around.

http://deadspin.com/5911001/rays-infielder-will-rhymes-passed-out-after-being-hit-by-a-pitch-tonightA horrifying scene unfolded at Tropicana Field in the bottom of the eighth inning of tonight's Rays-Red Sox game as Tampa Bay infielder Will Rhymes collapsed on the field after being hit on the arm by a pitch from Boston's Franklin Morales.
There is another Video of it

And kudos to Morales for owning up to it and wanting to reach out to Rhymes afterward.
