Honestly, I don't think he deserves 12,000,000/year for the next 5 years. The closest he played to a full season was last year with 140 games and last year WAS his best year to date, but there hasn't been enough consistency to justify such a contract in my opinion. Oh well, it isn't my team and it isn't my money. Besides, I can't say much, look at what the Indians gave Hafner. I'm so glad we are just about out of that contract.
