Wow very impressive. I posted a thread can a mod erase mine. This belongs to Giants fans.

        from SI .com

Matt Cain has just thrown the first perfect game in Giants history, dominating the Astros in a 10-0 rout. Considering the 14 strikeouts, it may have been the greatest game ever pitched

I agree it's gotta be right up there with the Koufax perfect game if not better. I was just watching the play by plays on the internet so I wasnt positive about it. Glad you posted so I knew for sure.

Even though I didnt witness it I still followed it pretty close and i'm gonna say I witnessed two and a half perfect games. 1. Buerhle 2. Humber and 2.5 Cain since I didnt watch it live.

Wow. If David Wright handles two grounders tonight there would have been two perfect games on same day.

That was the most dominating pitching performance I've witnessed in my life. Pure perfection.

Big shout out to The Great White Shark, Gregor Blanco for the catch of the year in the 7th!

Bochy also said they had someone secretly warming up underground out of site in case he walked someone or gave up a hit as the pitch count was getting up there

Cain was already leading the league in lowest WHIP coming into the game

safe to say he extended the lead

He helped me out big time in my fantasy league, especially since Hamels and Axford both had another off night.

Any Giants fan will tell you that it was only a matter of time before Cain through a no-hitter. But this was beyond what we expected. It truly was a "PERFECT" game. And it happened to one of the best people in MLB.
