The NY Yankees placed C.C. Sabathia (groin strain) and Andy Pettitte (fractured ankle) on the DL today. Pettitte was struck on the ankle by a line drive hit by Casey Kotchman of The Indians today, and is expected to be out about six weeks.

Well, it looks like I have some heavy drinking to do. This rotation was 1 major injury away from derailing this season, but 2? Either this offense needs to catch lightning in a bottle or we need whoever comes up from AAA to turn into an Aaron Small type phenomenon.Religion: Yankeeist
