In 2010 Charlie Manuel, that year's National League manager created a minor controversy by picking Omar Infante to the roster. Manuel picked Infante for his versatility. Infante was seeing playing time by bouncing between a few positions, but he was more of a Super-Sub and not quite getting enough playing time to be considered a regular.
