Maybe the Giants should have gone for Hanley. Now they have Scutaro, one of the few Rockies who looked decent in San Diego last week.

the dodgers have beaten the gmen two straight, but ..

this is the first time I have really seen h ramirez play, if this is the way he conducts himself he is totally classless and a punk

yesterday he hit a game changing home run but as he ran the bases when he got to second base, he turned almost 180 degrees back and looked at someone/somsething and made circle signs around his eyes - WTF was that, the giants announcers sounded pissed and they assured us the giants noticed it, he also did the same thing as he crossed home plate

today I saw him do something (maybe score a run or something) and again his actions were too much, too brash and very unprofessional

i can see why miami could not wait to get rid of his ass, if this is how he acts when things go good, totally classless and insulting to your opponent, I hate to see him when he reverts to a .240 hitting bitching and moaning punk which we all know he is, this guy has milton bradley written all over him
      1. The more I learn, the more convinced I am that many players are over-rated due to inflated stats from offensive home parks (and eras)

Oh, please. Somebody's too sensitive. That "sign" is what he called "I see you." Do you realize that he was looking at the first-base dugout when he did that, which means his teammates? So what "showing up" are you talking about? Stop calling anything that goes against the Giants unprofessional. The "I see you" is no different from Brian Wilson's X sign or whatever it is that he does in honor of his dead father.

Grow some skin. Hell, you don't even need a thick skin for that.
Using a stolen chant from Boston Celtics fans whenever an L.A. team is playing up there just reeks of inferiority complex.

If hitting a baseball is the toughest thing to do in sports, then pitching must be the easiest thing to do in sports.

It may have the eye thing that the marlins did as a team when they got on...didnt see it but its sort of a cat eye sign the team did...maybe he brought it to the dodgers...certainly better than the paw stuff guys do

As a Giants fan, I do worry about what kind of impact a talented player like Hanley Ramirez could have on the Dodgers this year, though I relish the idea of what his attitude could do to the Dodgers clubhouse in the next two years.

It'll be interesting to see where both LA and SF are by August 20th (when both teams face each other again). I think the Dodgers have the more favorable overall matchups until then and with no Sandoval (or bringing in another bat by tomorrow), it could get a bit hairy for the Giants. Both teams face some non-contenders, but SF has to play 7 games vs St Loius and Washington while teh Dodgers will see Pittsburgh and Atlanta. Both play Colorado, but the Dodgers get them at home while the Giants have to play in that park where anything can happen.
