            They will be teammates someday.
Using a stolen chant from Boston Celtics fans whenever an L.A. team is playing up there just reeks of inferiority complex.

If hitting a baseball is the toughest thing to do in sports, then pitching must be the easiest thing to do in sports.

One of these next few years, BJ's gonna figure things out and have a monster year. He'll be cheaper than Melky and Bourn on the open market. I'd take the shot on him being the best buy of all multi-year OFers taken this winter.

Saying that BJ Upton is lazy, is lazy. He runs faster than 95% of all other major leaguers but because he uses long strides and doesn't have his head down it looks like he's giving up on the play.

Great defense in centerfield, great arm, 40ish steals per year, 18ish homers per year, hit 7 homers in the 2008 ALDS and ALCS but is somehow overrated because his lifetime batting average is only .255. Not bad for a kid who entered the MLB at 19 as a shortstop.

Over the last few years, Joe Maddon has pulled Upton from games or otherwise disciplined him for lack of hustle several times that I can recall. Is Maddon lazy, too?
