  • Freddy Garcia (150-100) wins 150th game

Freddy Garcia was the winning pitcher in today's Yankees game, (his 150th career win), beating his first major league team the Seattle Mariners.
He improved his lifetime record to 150-100, .600 Win pct. with a 4.12 ERA.
His record is indicative of higher scoring in today's baseball as opposed to 40 to 50 years ago, and effected somewhat by the fact that he has spent almost his entire career in the American League, whose designated Hiter rule leads to higher scoring and higher pitchers' earned run averages..
I doubt if it would be possible to be a 150 game winner, with a .600 winning percentage in the 1960s, with an earned run average as high as Garcia's.
