Charlie Sheen donated $50,000 to the Reds Community Fund after Marty Brennaman shaved his head. An excellent gesture of charity.

I think I heard once that he is a Reds fan. I think he makes some bad decisions but he's not a horrible person. That's pretty generous of him.
"(Shoeless Joe Jackson's fall from grace is one of the real tragedies of baseball. I always thought he was more sinned against than sinning." -- Connie Mack

"I have the ultimate respect for Whitesox fans. They were as miserable as the Cubs and Redsox fans ever were but always had the good decency to keep it to themselves. And when they finally won the World Series, they celebrated without annoying every other fan in the country."--Jim Caple, ESPN (Jan. 12, 2011)

      Pretty generous...

He donated 0.06% of his net worth to a charity.

Two months ago I donated 1.3% of my net worth to alz.org.

$50,000 to Sheen is like ten bucks to you and me.
I see great things in baseball. It's our game - the American game.

Yeah i suppose if you look at it that way not so much. But 50,000 is still alot of money and i'm sure it will help out.

Must say that is generous of you. I don't think i've ever donated to a charity.

            1.3%? lol.

The religion of my birth (Judaism) requires each member to donate 10% of their annual income to charity.

The Sheen family hail from Dayton, Ohio. That's where Sheen's Reds fandom comes from.

It may be a minimal amount for Sheen, but we have no idea what other charities he has contributed to. I highly doubt this is the only one and it should not be treated as it is.
