I would also go with ventura although quite a few managers (maddon certainly among them to be fair) are doing a good job. Melvin is certainly a good candidate too as is Showalter.
I now have my own non commercial blog about training for batspeed and power using my training experience in baseball and track and field.

Showalter, especially if the Os take the division. Fourteen straight losing seasons and an expected win total under 70, c'mon.

Not for just last September; that's going a little far.

Mike Scioscia. Nobody gave them a chance this season yet here they are contending for the Wild Card.Using a stolen chant from Boston Celtics fans whenever an L.A. team is playing up there just reeks of inferiority complex.
If hitting a baseball is the toughest thing to do in sports, then pitching must be the easiest thing to do in sports.

Before one casts a vote for Robin Ventura, one must ask themselves, "Should Paul Konerko be batting fourth behind Adam Dunn at third?" (Basically, having Dunn bat third and Konerko fourth as opposed to the inverse always seemed intuitively incorrect to me, and I was wanting to hear others' opinions to strive towards furthering my understanding of the game.)"Baseball is really fun"~ Joe Dimaggio
"I really like baseball"~ Babe Ruth
"Baseball is my favorite sport"~ Pete Rose
