With the NHL lockout having begun, MLB is the only one of the four major sports leagues not to have a work stoppage in the last year and a half. Pretty amazing considering its labor history that MLB hasn't had a work stoppage since 1995 and won't until at least 2016.

the union and league finally reached an agreement that financially
satisfied all parties, improved player health and safety, and avoided

though it counts on paper obviously, fans dont care about a work stoppage (or even consider it one) unless the sport misses games.....and the NFL hasnt missed a game since 1987"all the mets road wins against the dodgers this year have occured at Dodger Stadium"---Ralph Kiner
