Tampa's staff is so good... they only have one member of their staff with over 20 IP and an ERA over 4.00... and that's Alex Cobb, with a robust 4.27. They'd be leading the division with a healthy Evan Longoria for the season.

In other news, Oakland A's hitters are on pace to strike out 1,381 times, which would be the second-highest team total in MLB history (The 2001 Milwaukee Brewers hold the record with 1,399 strikeouts. Having Richie Sexson, Jeromy Burnitz, Jose Hernandez and Geoff Jenkins in one lineup will do that...)My top 10 players:
1. Babe Ruth
2. Barry Bonds
3. Ty Cobb
4. Ted Williams
5. Willie Mays
6. Alex Rodriguez
7. Hank Aaron
8. Honus Wagner
9. Lou Gehrig
10. Mickey Mantle

Pretty much that was what I was pointing to. After Longoria went down the Rays took a bit of a dive in the standings. Other teams have had problematic injuries too of course.
