Is Turner Field still there?
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning. It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.

What happens if the protest goes the Braves way? Which i'm sure it won't because I don't remember a protest ever getting overturned. That umpire called the infield fly after the ball dropped. I still cant believe the horrible call made there.

"I have the ultimate respect for Whitesox fans. They were as miserable as the Cubs and Redsox fans ever were but always had the good decency to keep it to themselves. And when they finally won the World Series, they celebrated without annoying every other fan in the country."--Jim Caple, ESPN (Jan. 12, 2011)

There was almost no doubt in my mind that the Cardinals were going to win that game before a single pitch was thrown.

No, because there was no pressure on the Cards and all on the Braves. Kris Medlen HAD to win, the Braves HAD to win, especially after last season. Then they pull their worst game of the season.

                Only David Ross worked out.

More because most of the teams I hate seem to have this special magic that makes them win. The fact that I loathe the Cardinals more than ever pretty much guaranteed they wouldn't lose.

So the defending World Series champs move on to the NLDS. The Cards will be dangerous for the Nationals.
Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.-Crash Davis
