Reds have a problem now with the Cueto injury. Stupid ol' back spasms. Luckily, Matt Cain't.

Arroyo tomorrow, but I'm not sure about game three.

I'm betting there won't be more than 20 runs scored in this entire series.

A Reds-Tigers World Series is my humble plea to the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Here is my prediction/review of the series.

San Francisco Giants, World Series Champions in 2010, 2012, and 2014!!!

Giants hit the ball hard all night but the Reds made several fine defensive plays. If Belt's drive gets by Votto the Giants would have had runners on third and second with no outs. But Votto snares the ball and bingo double play.

At the rate things are going, the Reds might reach 20 runs by themselves!

I'm thinking a Reds-Tigers series would be a good one!

This Reds pitching staff is pitching like the 2010 Giants pitching staff. The situation is very bleak for the Giants.

I heard they made a call to Cody Ross

Did they call the 2010 version of Tim Lincecum as well?

All it takes is a 3-game winning streak, but they sure are stinking up the joint, at the plate and on the mound. Very disappointing so far.

Just to set the record straight they keep refering to Lincecum's now 4 relief appearances.

One was really not a relief appearance as such.

The Giants were going to play I believe the Dodgers and there was supposed to be a 1-2 hour rain squall coming somwhere around the third inning.

Bochy decided to use a long man to start the game, wait out the rain squall, then have Lincecum come in - which is exactly the way it played out.

San Francisco Giants beat Los Angeles Dodgers (2-1). Apr 2, 2008, Attendance: 43217, Time of Game: 3:11. Visit Baseball-Reference.com for the complete box score, play-by-play, and win probability

That it was planned doesn't make it not a relief appearance. He's still coming in to a game in progress, yes?

I am just saying it was PLANNED due to the rain, it wasn't like the starter got in trouble and he was in the bullpen and got called to help

it was PLANNED the way it happened

it is still listed as a relief appearance but there was a reason for it
