A well played series, especially after coming off of a hard fought NCLS.

I'm just so happy. I've been a Giants fan since 1965, when I was 9 years old. This is the reason why one stays with one team, goes through all the frustration, so you can have days like this. I know it's not important in the big picture of life, but I grew up in a baseball family. Thanks to my Dad, who passed away in 2007, for giving to me his love of baseball.

Big congrats to the Giants and their fans!

I'll be in San Francisco in early December. It's a pleasure to know the city will be in good spirits. :cap:

While I can't say I'm particularly happy about getting another rerun title this year, if we have to have one, the Giants are a good team for it to happen to. They have some really cool fans, and their recent history isn't littered with championships, so they are still somewhat sympathetic.

I'm glad it's over, frankly. Now I can have my life back.

Guess the Tigers know what it feels like to get swept, eh? Payback is so sweet.

I thought payback involved the one doing the paying, not the one on the sidelines, out of it, just cheering on.

The Giants were the better team, plain and simple. Congrats to them and their fans. Next year couldwell be more of the same.

This question shouldn't be answered in this thread. This thread is for congratulating the Giants.

And these bitter backhanded congratulations by two Yankee fans show zero class. How about stepping up to the plate like an adult with your 27 championships and genuinely congratulating this year's champs?
