Many teams already have their local games on FOX owned networks. What's the big deal?
I had no idea things were that bad...I guess if Murdoch has already been involved, it might explain why Joe Buck and Tim McCarver still have jobs. I don't think I've ever enjoyed any announcers that FOX has ever had. And I don't even watch Fox News either.

At one point every LA team was on News Corp.

So since Murdoch now owns YES Network, will YES become a Fox channel?

I ask this because on MLB.TV, where I get all my games, all games broadcast on Fox are blacked out (live).

The blacked out games are National Packaged ones. Has nothing to do with local regional broadcasts (a bunch of which are on regional Fox Sports Networks).

                ^ Well that's a relief.

Because otherwise it would mean that I'd have to constantly listen to the Yankees radio feed and I don't much care for that.

Amen. Worst I've ever heard, and I spent the last 30 years listening to Hawk Harrelson.

The Steinbrenners will still control 51% of YES, at least for now, so don't expect any changes in broadcasting.
