Eh, I'm interested. And I believe I know what I'm doing. I've won my fantasy league's title 2 out of the past 3 years. Slightly different league, though. Although I understand "traditional" fantasy league.

I'd be interested but probably not for much over 14 teams. That gets to be less fantasy baseball and more "nightmare baseball. As in, "Alex Cora is my second baseman......and I'm happy about it. Nooooooooooooo!". Sorry Red Sox fans! I like a few more than just 5x5, but 10x10 you may end up basically repeating catagories. What about 6x6 with OBP and Holds? Adding batter K's really makes you think long and hard about drafting guys like Dunn, Glaus, Soriano, Thome, etc. Replacing pitcher K's with K per 9 is a better way of valuing strikeout pitchers, although I feel K's are overblown in importance. My regular league has doubles and triples as well. (Another way overvalued stat is the homerun in my opinion, devaluing doubles hitters.) At any rate, I'd be interested in a 12-14 team league with SOME stat variation..........

I'd probably include CS... just so you have to pick efficient players who steal, not just players who have a lot of attempts *coughJUAN PIERREcough*

I'm in depending on size of league (see Hooligan's post).
A lot of people say this honor validates my career, but I didn't work hard for validation. I didn't play the game right because I saw a reward at the end of the tunnel. I played it right because that's what you're supposed to do, play it right and with respect. If this validates anything, it's that learning how to bunt and hit and run and turning two is more important than knowing where to find the little red light at the dug out camera. - Ryne Sandberg

If so what type of format would everyone want? regular 5x5?

Or I made a league last season that was 10x10, using OPS, Ks, Walks things like that... only problem was not many people knew what they were doing (had 20 teams) so I won pretty easily
Count me in 12 - 14 teams sounds good
It's just throwing and catching and hitting and running. What could be simplier?

                Sounds like fun

I'd also like to get into this league, provided that it's not too large. As was previously posted, I think that 14 teams is plenty.

I'd like to get in. I'm nobody on this board, but I promise you I will participate no matter if I'm first or last.
I usually do 12-14 teams a year on yahoo and Sporting News. Last year I won 2 leagues and finished top 3 in 7.

I like 12 teams, 25 man rosters, and 5x5 roto. With too many categories it becomes more luck than skill.

You can't sit on a lead and run a few plays into the line and just kill the clock. You've got to throw the ball over the $%#%! plate and give the other man his chance. That's why baseball is the greatest game of them all. ~Earl Weaver
