No, it is already out and is out for PS2 and XBOX.

Some Xbox games can be played on the 360... Not sure if this would be one though.

My list shows Major League Baseball 2k6 is the only one set to release on the 360..

Which I am ok with, the 2ksports game NBA 2k6 had the best graphics of all the XBOX 360 games.. So let's see what they do with a baseball game.

i have never bought any sports games other than EA, so I'm not sure what I'll do. Probably just play the old ones... Also, they do make two games a year for basketball and football, one NCAA and one pro. Except for baseball, I tend to prefer the NCAA games to the pro ones. I'm still gonna play MVP 05 for PS2.

I wasn't going to get MVP NCAA 2006 because I don't follow college ball to much, but it's only $20 so I decided to pick it up, which I'm glad I did. It will hole me over till Sony's MLB 2006 The Show (which looks like it's gonna be the best baseball game ever) comes out.

The create a stadium in MVP is worth the $20 alone.

There is no way I'm getting 2K Baseball this year. Last year's might have been the worst baseball game I've ever played. The physics were terrible, it felt like you were swinging at a wiffle ball. I have no reason whatsoever to even think about playing the new one.

I'd love to try MLB 06, but I don't have a PS2, so that's out of the question.

NCAA 06 is awesome, the gameplay is so smooth. The only problem is I don't really know many players in the game besides Ryan Zimmerman and Alex Gordon, so it's hard to get into at first, but once you learn the people, dynasty mode is fantastic.

I was very angered when I heard MVP 06 isnt coming out but then I realized if it did come out, I would play that, starting from scratch on Dynasty Mode and then my Dynasty from 05 would sit forever doing nothing. SO now I dont have that problem. MVP is the only game I play for baseball.

I defiantley gonna get MVP NCAA, if it comes out for PC because i thought MVP 05 was great but i was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on which MLB game would be worth buying as i want to make sure its worth shipping it over to the UK. It'll have to be available for the PC though as i don't have an American console

PEOPLE: I have had a revelation: MVP 06 is actually a good game! I shelled out 20 bucks and got it... 'tis amazing. Everything is improved... except the music. I will really miss good songs like "Tessie" from MVP 05 especially, and all the other ones, especially "the IROC-Z Song" and "Funny Little Feeling". "Die Romantic" is the best song on the 06 game, and it's nowhere near as good as the other three... Also, another plus: Unlike other NCAA games, you can start with real names, not just numbers.

                    BUY IT!! IT'S NOT BAD!!

Wow, that's what was keeping me from buying it. I didn't even think they could do that in NCAA games. Bad marketing job by the MVP makers not to mention that in the ads that I've seen for the game.

As for the music, I usually just turn it off anyways (although last year's soundtrack was decent). You've convinced me, I'm going to go buy it sometime this week.
A lot of people say this honor validates my career, but I didn't work hard for validation. I didn't play the game right because I saw a reward at the end of the tunnel. I played it right because that's what you're supposed to do, play it right and with respect. If this validates anything, it's that learning how to bunt and hit and run and turning two is more important than knowing where to find the little red light at the dug out camera. - Ryne Sandberg

I hope this doesn't disapoint you, E.Banks#14, but they aren't the REAL player names. They are just generated names. The game is still great and worth buying.

Yea after I reread the post, I figured that's what he meant, it's still better than just going by numbers. It just doesn't look natural when you check your roster and its just a list of positions and numbers.

This is about the 50th thread on this topic and I'll say here what I said on those. MVP 2005 is the best baseball game ever made imo.

EA didn't "lose" their rights, they essentially traded the ability to make a baseball game, for the ability to corner the market on NFL. They threw all their chips in the pot with Madden 07 and I can tell you, I've owned that game for exactly two days and I'm ready to go trade it in already. I want Madden 06 back. They took a HUGE step backwards in 07 with no fantasy draft, no owner mode (concessions, stadium upgrades, etc), the gameplay/button issues are brutal (hot routes, double teaming key receivers, sprint button), can't customize your uniforms, every team only has two jerseys, the menus are impossible to navigate, and while the graphics are kick ass, every player resembles Barry Bonds, even the kickers. Oh and there's no Madden commentary. Its some scrub. Could go on and on. Just not a good game. So I will soon have MVP 2005 and Madden 2006 rollin' again. MVP can't be beat. Everything you could want and more. The graphics might be better for other games, lord knows they would look stellar on the 360, but the gameplay/options tradeoff isn't worth it to me. Ok, had to vent about Madden. I feel better now. Still ripped off, but better.

No fantasy draft? h I'll stick with NCAA 07, thank you very much.
