Just want to know if you guys are getting MLB 08 The Show and for what system. I'm getting it for the PS2 until I do decide to buy a PS3. Will you guys be playing online?

Yes I'm definitely getting The Show for my PS3. I downloaded the demo a few days ago and it's EASILY the most fluid and real looking baseball game I've ever come across.sigpic -

I'll be picking it up for the PS3 (EB, now that Blu Ray is the true winner of the new format war, you might as well invest, I just did). I think the graphics look awesome from the demo I played, but it can still be fine-tuned. I have 07 for the PSP, which I probably won't upgrade. I just play it in the car while I'm wasting time waiting for a ferry or in traffic.
I hope the PS3 version is a little deeper for features and unlockable stadiums, etc. than the PSP version.

I decided it was time to move up in the gaming world so I bought a PS3 this past sunday. I can't wait to buy 08 I'm going to look for it at Wal Mart of something and hope they have it because I'm going in on tuesday which is the release date so I hope they're not all sold out by the time I go in.Comment

I have been playing The Show 08 on the PS2, but I can't take it anymore and am getting a PS3 to play it on. I love this game so much that its worth dropping the money for The PS3.Comment

I just bought the PS3 and MLB 08 yesterday and its AWESOME! Didn't know it was that big a difference from the PS2 version. I don't regret buying a PS3 for MLB 08 at all. Well worth it! Can't believe all these months I was playing the PS2 version and hooked on it as well.Comment
