  • A Trade I was offered

This guy has offered a trade similar to this earlier which, of course, I rejected. Am I wrong to think this is bad offer?

This trade has been proposed to you in Yahoo Public 112239 (112239).

    R. Canó
    G. Sheffield
    C. Schilling
    D. Haren

    For

    C. Beltrán
    R. Oswalt
    C. Sabathia
    T. Hudson

    It's a 12 team 5X5 league.

I'm in a Yahoo! public league also. I have a few younger pitchers, including Francisco Liriano and Joe Blanton. Which, if any, should I drop to add Daniel Cabrera? He's pitching great so far in his spring outings, for whatever that's worth. Liriano isn't guaranteed a rotation spot for the Twins, but has tremendous potential and is one of the top pitching prospects today. Blanton's more established in the A's rotation, but he won't break any new ground. I'm leaning towards dropping Liriano. In two or three years, Liriano will be the much better player, but I think Blanton's the safer choice. Any thoughts?

This guy just won't stop. Now he ofring me this:

        A. Pujols
        G. Sheffield
        B. Giles
        C. Schilling
        D. Haren
        C. Capuano

        for

        V. Guerrero
        C. Beltrán
        S. Casey
        R. Oswalt
        J. Patterson
        T. Hudson

I'm rejecting it because Pujols and possibly Capuano are the only players of his I'd value.

I'm pretty comfortorable with my team but it's obvious he wants to make a deal really bad. Any advice on a counter offer I should make?

Been a while since I did fantasy...but a 4-for-4 trade is always gonna be tricky to pull off....basically a deal isn't even and someone keeps adding guys trying to make it seem even. If you can't pull off a 2-for-1 or 2-for-2 deal, there probably isn't anything there.

Puljos would be nice...but where you gonna play him? If he was eligbile at 3b, and you had some starting pitching to move, I'd consider trying to make something happen there.

            Just my 2 cents...good luck!
