All right, it looks like we've got about 15 teams right now. Lets set the sign up deadline for 10 pm ET tonight (Sunday). I'll post some rules tomorrow morning and you guys can tell me your dislikes and likes and I can change the rules accordingly.

MF, I say if we want to make this draft run the way it should we should stay with 15 teams. Anything more than that and we would have too many people to run this thing properly, and the draft would take way too long. I say we don't allow any new teams as of now. 15 is a nice number.

Well we've got exactly 13 right now. I'll cut things off at 15 teams or 10 pm, whatever comes first.

Okay the rules are posted in the original post now. Let me know what you think of them and give me some feedback. If alot of you guys really dislike a rule, let me know and I could maybe change it.

Tentative staring time is 12 noon this Wednesday.

The way the lottery is going to work is I'm going to assign each manager a number (1-14 representing the number of teams we have). I'm then going to PM that list to a respected poster on this board (the list will not be publicly posted). Then I'm going to need a third poster to go to random.org and use the random generator to organize the numbers 1-14 in a random order and post the order in this thread. Then I'll match the assignment numbers to the random numbers and that will our draft order and the person that I PMed the assignment list to can verify that I didn't cheat. So needless to say, I'm going to need two volunteers.

One other thing, if you are incapable of checking this board a couple of times a day to check if your pick is coming up, drop out of the draft now. I for one, am a loser and can spend the whole day at my computer but I know that some people have real lives so its understandable. Most managers should know when their pick is coming up and be ready to make that pick as soon as their pick comes up. We do have an eight hour clock but if everyone uses the full 8 hours, this will take way to long.

Also, I hate to be redundant but this thread probably needs to be stickied so if a moderator would be so kind, I'd really appreciate it.

Yeah, I'll be at school then. Best time for me is between 1 PM (central) and 7 PM. Noon is probably not a good time for most of us.

I can change the start time to about 8 o'clock but you guys have to remember thats the start time for the first pick, the chances that either of you get the #1 overall pick are pretty unlikely. Plus each person has 8 hours to pick.

8 would be much better. If I were you, I would also ask that all owners be here for possibly 5 or more "lightning rounds" the first night. After that there can be an 8 hour window for each owner to pick.
