  • Yeah, I really, really wanted to take Piazza, and Plank is a favorite too. But I guess I'm all in on have a knock down, kick behind rotation....Young (oops, secret's out), Paige, Maddux, Gibson, Hubbell.

I better pick up some hitting though....

Sad thing is that I prefer hitters to pitchers...but sometimes you have to take what you can take.

Sorry - I do not know enough about Japanese players to vote fairly and I would bet some other participants might be in the same boat.

          • I was expecting either to end-up with Perry or Palmer since the very beginning - but was NOT expecting Piazza to fall this far. Though I am REALLY tempted to grab Piazza here, we are to the point where we have to look at what positions are available in what letters are left and plan more strategically than take the best-available.

Might regret it, but I will take Jim Palmer as it makes more sense for my future draft needs.

                  That's a winner pick! I love Jim Palmer...wish I had picks 2A, 2B, 2C in this round.

Yes...those tended to happen frequently when Piazza was behind the plate.

                          • I believe:

Henrich (Boston Cronies) and Jar of Flies (Seattle Sludge) to end Ps.
Then Stieb (Pittsburgh Lumberjacks) to kick off Qs.

                              This is correct.

                              henrich at bat
                              JarofFlies on deck
TI in the hole (with the Q's)

                              • Aren't I leading off with the Q's? I'd be MORE than happy to draft first in another round, but unfortunately I think I lead off with the Q's.....
