This was a lot of fun. Thanks ian, for a great idea. In terms of rankings, I'll say it again- at least for me, it was splitting hairs. I rearranged my list several times before giving up. Not much difference between first and last. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.

Here is how I have them ranked. All of the drafters came up with some real excellent teams! Good job all! All my ratings are based relative to this league...in real life all these teams would win 140-150 games in a 162 game schedule.
...not a lot separately any of us, your team would dominate too in a 162 game schedule!

Huge fan of his top two pitchers, the next two not so much unless in their absolute best years. Might get to third if he used a four-man rotation.
Next time I will just fill my team with players who knew Wwarren G. Harding personally and maybe you will like my team better.

I think Ford and Gibson were amazing and they were 1950-1975 era, well past my sweet spot. I just don't think too much of your #3 and #4 pitchers (relative to this level) unless they were used in their peak seasons.

Notice I did complement Griffey Jr. specifically.

Oops, edit....not a believer in the offense of Brooks and a few of the others are lesser.

I think everyone undersold Gooden, Hershiser, and Grimes quite a bit. I think I had one of the only stadds where the entiretop 5 actually had HOF case.

My relievers were relative poor for sure and I knew it would hurt me.

The bullpen wasn't a big issue for me. Leading off with Yount was a much bigger deal, OBP was only 16 point above average. Great if you get one of the great 1980s seasons, but too many off years.

Yah, I voted you #1, part of the reason is that your staff was quite solid, I'll see if I can gather some notes from analyzing the teams.

EDIT: Out of the 5 teams for me to rate, I'd put your staff as #2 behind Big Rons.

Looking a little more, I rated Big Ron lower than the electorate, the 1B/LF/RF is weak compared to others.
Summing each team with 100 being a baseline HOFer, I have the following:
                  BA - 709
                  Stieb - 675
                  TI - 605
                  Ian - 569
                  Big Ron - 350
