Um. I've never did one of these. Do we do in chat room? Or is this more like a slow draft done right here on the site?

EDIT: Also, are teams run thru a simulator or such? Back in the day, a site I was on did something not quite like this and put it on WhatIfSports.com... now it's a pay site I believe to customize - was free at first to get interest.

It's done on this site, on this thread. Past drafts have been entered in a simulator. I never cared whether these teams would be entered in a sim, but if someone wants, they could try it out. But since we have nine teams, they would need to figure out the play-in game issue.

For those unfamiliar, be sure to let the next person know he is up. People will have to delete such messages once they've received them, otherwise their inbox will fill up fast.

If there's say 1-2 people in front of me and I won't be around in a timely fashion, is it okay if I toss 3-4 names in a list to AstrosFan just to make sure it keeps moving? I should be around for the most part, but we never know what happens day to day.

I'm not in this draft- I probably should have signed up- but I see that John is up to his regular tricks. I never saw a guy who liked big hitters as much as John!

You can, but be sure to list them in order of priority.

Wow, I wake up and already the draft is three picks in! Just so everyone knows, I'm in Korea, so my availability schedule might be a little different than yours. With my job, I'm usually only available around 6:00-8:00 PM Eastern time (my morning) and then 5:30-11:00 AM (my evening). It is possible for me to run home during lunch hour (11:00 PM-12:00 AM Eastern) and use the internet, but I can't do that every day. I might frequently have to PM my picks to others.

I was hoping I'd get Dick Allen, as he'd be the perfect DH, and he could also back up at the corner infield positions, but it looks like Erik had the same thought. Oh well. We'll see who's available when my turn comes up.

Not sure how to start this because I have a bad feeling I'm going to regret my first few picks. I guess I'll go with Bobby Grich.
