--Attached are what I have for team rosters now. Protected players are listed as active and expansion eligible players as farmed. For those new to the CKL and/or DMB the ratings are poor (PR), fair (FR), average (AV), very good (VG) and excellent (EX).

One mistake on the Shoeless roster. Cepeda is a keeper and Pena should be available to the expansion teams.

Ed, you need to clear up a few things here. For the free agent signees you have the year you signed them, but what is really of interest is the year their deal ends. Also, I think Fuentes was a draft choice, not a free agent, and I know Spangler was a free agent not a draft choice (67 is not his debut year). Please get these updated so the new owners know what they'd be getting from you.

            Cater, Danny - 64 Draft - 1.000
            Fuentes, Tito - 67 Free Agent - .500
            Gibbs, Jake - 67 Free Agent - .250
            Gibson, Josh - 67 Draft - .750
            Hannan, Jim - 68 Free Agent - 1.500
            Hershberger, Mike - 67 Free Agent - 1.000
            Humphreys, Bob - 67 Free Agent - .250
            Oyler, Ray - 67 Free Agent - .250
            Pizarro, Juan - 67 Free Agent - .250
            Short, Chris - 61 Draft - 12.000
            Spangler, Al - 67 Draft - .500
            Spencer, Jim - 68 Draft - .500
            Taylor, Tony - 61 Draft - 2.500
            Torres, Hector - 68 Draft - .500

Gamblers trade their 2nd and 3rd Round pick this year to the Legends for Outfielder Art Shamsky and Secondbasemen Dick Green.

Please confirm, and the contracts are?

And jkc do you recall Hisle's and Reed's contract?

--By my quick look at the expansion eligible list there are 75 players who are capable of full time or near full time in somebodies lineup or rotation this year. That is more than I expected and will allow all the expansion teams to field a team without having to go crazy in free agency or trade away future picks. Of course the bad news is that a number of those 75 are not guys you'd want playing full time.
--I count 118 players who I would be happy to have on my roster (15 of which actually are on my roster for the time being). Not all those players will contribute this year though.
--A few teams aren't going to lose much in this draft. I only see 3 Diablos and Angels, 4 Gamblers and 5 Badgers that I would take as a gift. The Legends, Skipjacks, Shoeless Joes, Redbirds and Gold Sox all have at least 11 players I like to have.

Larry Hisle, 250K, drafted in 1968 so he can be kept through 1973
Ron Reed, 500K, drafted in 1966, keeper through 1971

I sifted through all the expansion hitters yesterday and was quite surprised at some of the players available. There are definately some good players the expansion GMs can build around. I haven't checked out the available pitchers yet but figure there are some keepers in that bunch too.
