      Knights pre-season roster and salaries

IF Luis Salazar (.75, 80 draft)
RP Albert Williams (.50, 80 draft)
RP John Martin (.50, 80 draft)
      3B Doug DeCinces (6.0, FA79-82)
      OF Gorman Thomas (12.0, FA79-82)
RP Mark Clear (1.0, 79 draft)
SP Steve Rogers (17.25, 79-83 FA)
RP Steve Comer (2.0, 78 draft)
      C Gary Carter (12.0, 74 draft - franchised)
      1B Cecil Cooper (17.0, FA 77-81)
IF Jim Morrison (250K, 77 draft)
      RP Frank LaCorte (.25, FA79-81)
IF UL Washington (500K, 77 draft)
OF Bobby Brown (.50, 79 draft)
OF Hosken Powell (.25, 78 draft)
SP Bruce Berenyi (.75, 80 draft)
OF Joe Lefebvre (.75, 80 draft)
      C Gary Allenson (.25, 79 draft)
      SP Mike Torrez (.50, FA80-81)
      RP Doug Capilla (.25, FA80-81)

      OF Rick Miller (2.0, FA80-81)
      SP Mike Boddicker (1.5, 80draft)

23 players for 80.00M, so it doesn't look like the Knights will be heavy players in the FA market. We could use a front line SP and a starting 2B. If you have one to offer that isn't making a fortune we might be willing to move some rookie picks.

      Free Agents
      Bake McBride
      Joe Simpson

Your info is incorrect. We signed him as a free agent to a 3 yr deal in 1980 and he was still on our roster at the end of the season.

I concur with Garry. Knight is listed on the Angels' roster in the latest version of the DM database.
