Please check Posts #31, #34, and #36 in the HTD Thread. Unless I made weird mistakes, the DB also bid $0.50 for 3 years on Rick Manning, $0.50M for three years on Dave Bergman, and $1.0M for one year on Pete Falcone. Thanks. Jack

Are you still allowed to bid in FA even if you already have 40 men on your roster? With the understanding you will have to make cuts after it is over.

Yes, you can bid as long as you stay under the cap. Players cut at this point will still count against the cap.

We'll start the status roundup: the Skipjacks are at 39 players and $91.50 mil on their roster. Won't be a whole lotta action here.

The Legends have 35 players at 92M. We need five players and have 8M in cap space. We won't be big spenders either!

The Lumberjaxx have 32 players at 82M. They need eight players and have 18M to spend. I don't think they will be a big player either (but we might go big on that one guy we need).

Mark, Brett Butler shows up on the most recent FA list you sent out. He was taken in the first round of the rookie draft by the Thunder.

--Knights are at 27 players for 82.50M. I thought that meant we wouldn't be big players this year, but seeing some of the other totals makes me think maybe we'll get a quality player or two.

The Thunder are at 46.25 Million for 23 players plus 4.25 in bids out for 2 players (Fred Lynn and Enos Cabell)

The Tyrants have 78.25 Milion comitted to 35 players. Not a ton of cash, but enough to be players in this FA market it seems.
