--I may do a little editting if somebody goes crazy and lifts their team to a playoff berth in the last 9 games, but this should be pretty close.
1) Andre Dawson: amazing season for the Badger's outfielder. Running away with the HR, slugging, RBI and runs created titles. He already has 100 EXB and has a great shot at 60 HR.
2) Mike Schmidt: overcame a miserable start to end up as the league's secon best hitter -and best defensive 3B. Led the Gamblers to a probable division title.
3) Bobby Grich: terrific all around season, putting up great numbers for an otherwise underpowered Angels squad - and in spite of playing half his games in the Astrodome.
4) Rickey Henderson: breakout season for Boys LF has them in playoff contention into October
5) Steve Kemp: Corsairs leadoff man is leading lead in OBP and 2nd in runs.
6) Chet Lemon: easily the best season amoung the non-contenders
7) Dave Winfield: leading the way for league's best team
8) Eddie Murray: slipped a bit in the 2nd half, but still an outstanding season
9) Dusty Baker: powered the Bunnies attack and still has shot at batting title
10) George Brett: Skipjacks main man even with the time missed this season

1. Andre Dawson, Badgers – Nearly got the Badgers to the playoff promised land for the first time. Led the league in homers, runs and RBI. Also finished top ten in doubles and average. A most worthy MVP season and an easy pick.
2. Bobby Grich, Angels – He did get the Angels to the playoffs. Great season by the second sacker, who also flashed some nice leather in the field. Second in RBI, third in homers – just a great offensive season.
3. Mike Schmidt, Gamblers – His torrid second half propelled the Gamblers to their second division title and first playoff slot in nine seasons. Second in homers, third in RBI. Added 97 walks for a fine .376 OBP, and played a fine third base as well.
4. Dwight Evans, Boys – Outstanding season for the CKL veteran, who seems to be aging like a fine wine. Had a league leading 109 walks for an outstanding .396 OBP. Added enough power to drive in 132 runs (4th) while scoring 122 (2nd) and playing in every game.
5. Eddie Murray, Beavers – He just keeps posting impressive numbers every year. The Beavers faded badly in the second half, but it was through no fault of Murray’s. Hammered 40 homers with 110 RBI.
6. Steve Kemp, Corsairs – Helped the Corsairs reach the playoffs yet again with his .404 OBP and 118 runs scored.
7. Dave Winfield, Lumberjaxx – Had another fine season, leading the Jaxx to their finest season ever. Scored 111 runs, drove in 93.
8. Doug DeCinces, Knights – Steady performer all year, rather unsung in leading the Knights to another playoff spot. Quietly drove in 106 runs while scoring 77 and playing his position well.
9. Rickey Henderson, Boys – Continues to impress. Had 92 walks, .396 OBP. Added 112 stolen bases while scoring 118 runs.
10. Tim Raines, Lumberjaxx – A dazzling rookie season for the sparkplug at the top of the Jaxx order. Posted a .374 OBP, scored 103 runs while setting a new CKL stolen base record with 120 steals and an 83% success rate. You see, you spend a good deal of your life gripping a baseball and in the end it turns out that it was the other way around all the time. 1 - Andre Dawson, Badgers
Dawson was absolutely the best hitter this season, and almost single handedly carried a franchise into the playoffs.
2 - Mie Schmidt, Gamblers
Leading the Gamblers to a division title almost made up for his slow start. Just a hair below Dawson but it is a thick hair.
3 - Bobby Grich - Angels
Bobby bobby bobby - you were so close to being a Gambler. Awesome offensive numbers from 2nd Base. A big reason the angels made the playoffs.
4 - Eddie Murray, Beavers
The leader on a team that almost defied odds and just missed the playoffs. Great onumbers are becoming a consistancy
5 - Dwight Evans, Maloy Boys
a case can be made for him to finish 2 spots higher. Loses out to Grich based on position and Murray based on a homer vote. 30 Homers, 122 Runs, and 132 RBI's are MVP type numbers
6 - Ricky Henderson, Boys
First huge year from a guy who is going to be a pain in everyone's behind for years to come.
7 - Robin Yount, Tyrants
his team was pretty weak but Yount was great. His numbers come into perspective when you consider how good he would be with some support.
8 - Chet Lemon, EB
Best player on the Gold Sox - played a great centerfield and put up solid numbers offensively
9 - Tim Raines, Jaxx
120 stolen bases. great range in CF, he was the sparkplug that made the Jaxx roll to a convincing division title and he's a rookie. . . . . did I mention he had 120 stolen bases?
10 - Steve Kemp, Corsairs
Another solid season for the man who knows how to get on base.Baseball statistics are like a girl in a bikini. They show a lot, but not everything. ~Toby Harrah

1. Andre Dawson - yup.
2. Mike Schmidt - no issues here either.
3. Bobby Grich - or here.
4. Dwight Evans - or here. The top four are fairly clear to me.
5. Rickey Henderson - I'll go with The Rickey next, #3 in runs created.
6. Chet Lemon - shades of Tony Oliva, from a Skipjack point of view.
7. Eddie Murray - is he talking to the media in this alternate universe?
8. Kirk Gibson - a shining star for a bad team.
9. Steve Kemp - just a solid all around season.
10. Dave Winfield - this ballot is being dominated by outfielders.
