Anyone needing a SS for 1982 can lock one up prior to the draft and free agency. With the emergence of young Cal Ripken, we would like to move Bill Russell. Russell is under contract for 1982 for 2.5M. Russell is rated VG at SS and has one of his best offensive seasons in 1982 (274/357/340/697, OPS+ of 99 in 576 PA's). I would trade him for a draft pick (current or future). Let me know if you are interested.

I would also be interest in trading Rick Manning. He is also under contract through 1982 for 1.25M. Manning can play all OF positions and provides a full season of AB's in 1982. Manning's line in 1982 is 270/334/352/686 in 619 PA's. He can also be had for a draft pick.

I'll get rosters for the Thunder and Tyrants up later. But just to get the off season up and rolling, the Thunder are still not ready to return to competition and are selling anyone who doesn't fit into their long term plans. Don Money and Dennis Eckersley are probably the two most attractive players on the roster.

The Tyrants on the other hand are planning on competing this year. They're primary needs are another starting pitcher, a CFer who can platoon with Gibson and a 2B who can at least hit righties. Cap space is a little tight, but they are also looking to move Davey Lopes (2B) who is solid this year, but a potential all-star in 83. His salary is just a little too steep for the level of production he provides this year to the cash strapped Tyrants. Draft picks, future prospects, or the above mentioned positions would all be acceptable in exchange for Lopes.

Placeholder. Will try to get the Legends and Jaxx rosters up soon. This off season is a bit shorter than normal.
